Job Description

Aramark is a global leader in food service, facilities, and uniform services, proudly serving millions of guests each day across 15 countries. With a commitment rooted in exceptional service and a unifying purpose, Aramark strives to make a positive impact on their partners, communities, and the planet. The company takes pride in developing its employees' talents, fueling their passions, and empowering their professional growth in a supportive environment.

This job opening is for a full-time Food Service Supervisor position within Aramark's dedicated Food Services Team. The Food Service Supervisor plays a crucial leadership role in support of daily food service operations. Working alongside a manager, the supervisor oversees staff, coordinates schedules, and ensures smooth, efficient daily activities aligned with Aramark's high standards. They maintain food safety, quality, and sanitation according to established policies, fostering a safe, organized, and hazard-free environment.

Key responsibilities focus on producing and maintaining work schedules, directing daily activities, managing food production in compliance with safety and quality guidelines, and overseeing correct storage and handling of food items. The supervisor also monitors inventory, supports employee training and mentorship, evaluates staff performance, and promotes team morale and cohesion. In addition to operational tasks, they maintain logs for equipment maintenance, food safety, and temperature checks, performing preventative maintenance and recommending necessary upgrades to equipment.

The role demands proficiency in multitasking and adaptability, as the supervisor may need to fill in for absent employees and support catering events, some of which require work during nights or weekends. Communication is vital for this position as the supervisor liaises regularly with staff in-person and through electronic means to maintain effective coordination. Coordination of daily catering events and occasional cashier duties may also be required.

Aramark emphasizes the growth and development of its employees, encouraging continuous learning and flexibility. This position offers the opportunity to develop new skills, take on meaningful responsibilities, and support a vibrant team dedicated to delivering excellent food service experiences.
