Reporting directly to a Food Services Manager, the supervisor plays a critical role in coordinating daily food operations, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring quality and efficiency in service. The Food Service Supervisor will engage in hands-on activities such as preparing production packets, overseeing food production and storage, monitoring catering events, and performing preventative maintenance on equipment.

Job Duties
- Produce and maintain work schedules and prepare production packets
- Direct daily activities
- Maintain food production ensuring safety and quality according to policies and department requirements
- Ensure safe, organized, and hazard-free food storage
- Maintain all serving schedules and adhere to menu specifications following company policies
- Maintain a sanitary department, complying with health and safety codes and regulations
- Maintain accurate inventory on a weekly basis
- Prepare orders as needed for accurate location production
- Supervise and evaluate employees, counsel, promote employee growth, efficiency, morale and teamwork
- Maintain a safe and hazard-free working environment
- Train and mentor other food service workers
- Maintain logs on all maintenance required on equipment
- Ensure completion of all food safety and temperature logs with appropriate corrective actions
- Perform preventative maintenance checks
- Recommend replacement of equipment as needed
- Demonstrate proficiency in multitasking
- Perform other duties as requested by Food Service Director or Manager
- Fill in for absent employees as necessary
- Manage daily catering events ensuring timely preparation and delivery
- Work occasional night and weekend catered events
- Attend food service meetings
- Maintain communication with staff through various channels
- Perform cashier duties as needed
- Promote good public relations
