Job Description

Aramark is a global leader in food services, facilities management, and uniform services, proudly serving millions of guests daily across 15 countries worldwide. The company is deeply rooted in service and united by a strong purpose — to do great things for its employees, partners, communities, and the environment. Aramark prides itself on fostering equal employment opportunities and maintaining an inclusive workplace where diversity, equity, and respect are fundamental values. With a robust commitment to compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, Aramark ensures a fair and supportive environment for every team member regardless of race, color, religion, gender, age, disability, or any other protected characteristic.

Aramark offers comprehensive benefit programs that include medical, dental, vision coverage, and work-life resources. Employees may also have access to retirement savings plans such as 401(k), paid time off including parental leave, and disability coverage, depending on their location and eligibility. This comprehensive benefits package underscores Aramark's commitment to the well-being and professional growth of its workforce.

The role of Food Service Supervisor at Aramark is a vital leadership position responsible for overseeing all aspects of food production and retail programs under the guidance of the Food Service Director. This role assumes full authority and responsibilities in the absence of the Food Service Director, ensuring continuity and excellence in food service operations. The Food Service Supervisor plans, coordinates, directs, and controls food production activities, managing resources efficiently to meet the nutritional and satisfaction needs of customers, employees, and patients. Beyond operational oversight, the supervisor also supports budget preparation and contributes to both short-term and long-term strategic financial and operational planning that aligns with the company’s objectives and client expectations.

Managing the Food Service Department involves directing and controlling food production staff, enforcing cost control measures, and guaranteeing quality standards in food preparation and service. This role requires active monitoring of customer satisfaction and financial performance, with the authority to recommend or implement corrective actions when necessary. Key to the role is maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations, including OSHA standards, and adhering to Aramark's standards of operation and business conduct policies.

The Food Service Supervisor is responsible for maintaining retail services programs, coordinating staff scheduling for production and sanitation functions, and overseeing menu planning in collaboration with food production personnel. This position demands an in-depth understanding of customer needs, particularly concerning the specific nutritional and service requirements of patient or resident populations across various age groups.

A significant aspect of the role involves human resource functions such as motivating employees, facilitating training and development, administering wages and benefits, and ensuring labor regulation compliance. The supervisor must maintain meticulous records and reports to meet all government and accrediting agency standards.

The position offers a competitive hourly rate of $29.81 and presents a rewarding opportunity to develop leadership skills within a respected global organization committed to excellence in food service and community service. Aramark supports qualified applicants conscientiously and welcomes candidates with diverse backgrounds — in line with applicable Fair Chance Ordinances and employment laws.

This comprehensive opportunity is ideal for professionals passionate about food service management, continuous improvement, and delivering exceptional customer experiences within a dynamic and supportive corporate culture.
