Renowned for its commitment to service excellence, Aramark prides itself on creating meaningful experiences for millions of guests daily through innovative and quality food offerings and services. The company is deeply rooted in service values and driven by a purpose to do great things for its employees, clients, partners, communities, and the planet. With a strong emphasis on diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunity, Aramark ensures a welcoming environment for individuals from all backgrounds, fostering personal and professional growth within its dynamic teams.
As a Food Service Supervisor at Aramark, you will play a pivotal role in leading the food services team and ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of daily activities. This full-time role is designed for enthusiastic individuals eager to advance their careers and showcase leadership capabilities in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. You will work closely alongside a manager to coordinate daily operations, oversee staff performance, and support team members as needed, helping to foster a collaborative and productive workplace atmosphere.
The Food Service Supervisor is responsible for producing and maintaining work schedules, preparing production packets including production sheets and recipes, and directing daily food production activities to maintain high standards of safety, quality, and hospitality adherence. Ensuring that all food items are stored safely and served per menu specifications, you will uphold Aramark’s policies and regulatory health and safety codes while maintaining cleanliness and organizational standards within the department. Your duties will further include maintaining accurate inventory records, supervising and evaluating staff, promoting employee growth, and fostering high morale and teamwork. You will also train and mentor new and existing food service workers, maintain equipment logs and perform preventative maintenance checks to ensure operational efficiency.
Beyond managing day-to-day tasks, the role involves involvement in special events such as catered functions, sometimes during evenings and weekends, as well as engagement in ongoing communications and meetings with food service staff to ensure coordinated and timely service delivery. You will also serve as a vital link in upholding food safety protocols via temperature logs and quality control measures, stepping in to cover absent staff members as necessary and performing cashier duties when needed. This position is ideal for candidates with strong organizational skills, the ability to maintain emotional control under stress, and the capability to resolve interpersonal situations effectively.
Joining Aramark means becoming part of a team that values professional development and a supportive culture where diverse talents flourish. Aramark offers the opportunity to grow your skills, pursue your passions, and contribute to impactful service that resonates within communities globally. If you are motivated to lead, learn, and thrive in an inclusive environment dedicated to excellence and innovation, this Food Service Supervisor role offers a rewarding career path with ongoing growth potential.
