The Food Service Supervisor role at Aramark is a full-time position focused on leading and coordinating daily food service operations. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in food service or supervisory role preferred
  • knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation procedures
  • ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • strong communication and leadership skills
  • availability to work occasional nights and weekends
  • ability to train and mentor staff
  • basic computer skills for inventory and scheduling

Job Qualifications

  • Must read, write, and understand verbal instructions
  • must complete a sanitation course either before or during first year

Job Duties

  • Produce and maintain work schedules and prepare production packets
  • direct daily activities
  • maintain food production safety and quality according to policies and department requirements
  • ensure food items are stored safely and hazard-free
  • maintain serving schedules ensuring food is served per menu specifications and Aramark procedures
  • maintain sanitary environment following health and safety codes
  • maintain accurate weekly inventory
  • prepare orders as needed
  • supervise and evaluate employees promoting growth, efficiency, morale, and teamwork
  • maintain a safe and hazard-free working environment
  • train and mentor food service workers
  • maintain equipment maintenance logs
  • ensure completion of food safety and temperature logs with corrective actions
  • perform preventative maintenance checklists
  • recommend equipment replacements
  • handle multitasking efficiently
  • perform duties as requested by Food Service Director or Manager
  • fill in for absent employees as needed
  • maintain knowledge of catering events and confirm timely delivery
  • work occasional night and weekend catering events
  • attend food service meetings
