This full-time Food Service Supervisor position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking to step up their career and lead in a dynamic food services environment. Working as part of a passionate Food Services Team under the guidance of a manager, the role involves overseeing staff, collaborating with team members, and contributing wherever necessary. Food Service Supervisors play a crucial role in ensuring food safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while maintaining high standards of sanitation and operational efficiency. The role demands strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced setting.

As a Food Service Supervisor, the individual will be responsible for producing and maintaining work schedules, preparing production packets including production sheets and recipes, and directing daily activities to ensure smooth operations. Maintaining food production standards that align with safety policies and departmental requirements is paramount. The supervisor will oversee proper food storage, ensuring a hazard-free environment, and ensure that all food items are served according to menu specifications and Aramark’s policies.

Additional responsibilities include managing inventory accurately on a weekly basis, preparing orders to meet production needs, and supervising employee performance to promote growth, efficiency, morale, and teamwork. The supervisor will also maintain sanitary conditions, uphold health and safety codes, perform preventative maintenance checks on equipment, and recommend necessary replacements to support facility needs. Training and mentoring food service workers while maintaining communication with office staff and other team members is essential. The supervisor may also fill in for absent employees, manage catering events, attend staff meetings, and perform cashier duties when required.

The role requires a high degree of emotional intelligence to maintain composure under stress, resolve interpersonal conflicts, and uphold a positive work environment. The Food Service Supervisor is also expected to participate in ongoing development and demonstrate flexibility as job duties may evolve to meet operational demands.
