The role of Food Service Supervisor at Aramark is a full-time leadership position within the passionate Food Services Team. In this role, you will be collaborating closely with a manager to help coordinate and lead daily operations effectively. Your responsibilities will include overseeing staff, maintaining food safety standards, managing production and serving schedules, and ensuring a clean and hazard-free environment. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, strong multi-tasking skills, and the ability to mentor and develop other food service workers. You will also play a key role in inventory management, equipment maintenance, and adherence to food safety policies and procedures. The Food Service Supervisor is integral in promoting teamwork, boosting morale, and supporting employee growth while fostering good public relations with guests and within the team. The job occasionally involves filling in for absent employees and participating in catered events, including occasional nights and weekends, requiring flexibility and commitment.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in food service or supervisory role preferred
- ability to lead and manage a team effectively
- knowledge of food safety regulations
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- physical ability to perform job duties
- proficiency in multitasking and time management
Job Qualifications
- Must read, write, and understand verbal instructions
- must complete a sanitation course before or during first year
- knowledgeable in operating an efficient cost-effective program

Job Duties
- Produce and maintain work schedules and prepare production packets
- direct daily activities
- maintain food production ensuring safety and quality
- ensure food storage is safe and organized
- maintain serving schedules according to menu specifications
- uphold sanitation and safety codes
- maintain accurate weekly inventory
- prepare orders as needed
- supervise and evaluate employees
- counsel and promote employee growth, efficiency, morale, and teamwork
- maintain a safe and hazard-free work environment
- train and mentor food service workers
- maintain maintenance logs for equipment
- complete food safety and temperature logs with corrective actions
- perform preventative maintenance checklists
- recommend equipment replacements as needed
- multitask effectively
- perform additional duties as assigned by Food Service Director or Manager
- fill in for absent employees as necessary
- ensure catering events are prepared and delivered on time
- work occasional night and weekend catered events
- attend food service staff meetings
- maintain communication with staff through various channels
- perform cashier duties when needed
