The Food Service Supervisor position at Aramark is a full-time role designed for individuals eager to step up in their career and take on leadership responsibilities within the Food Services Team. This role entails working closely with a manager to coordinate and lead daily operations, supervise and mentor staff, and ensure the delivery of high-quality food services in compliance with safety and sanitation standards. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will oversee food production, manage schedules, maintain inventory, and handle food safety logs while promoting team growth and morale. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the overall success of the department by participating in meetings, assisting with catering events, and occasionally performing cashier duties. The position offers an hourly wage range of $27.00 to $31.00.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in food service or supervision preferred
  • ability to work full-time hours including nights and weekends as needed
  • complete sanitation course
  • basic math skills
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to lead and mentor a team
  • maintain food safety standards and comply with health regulations

Job Duties

  • Produce and maintain work schedules and prepare production packets
  • direct daily activities
  • maintain food production ensuring safety and quality according to policies and procedures
  • ensure food items are stored safely and organized
  • maintain serving schedules and ensure food items are served per menu specifications
  • maintain a sanitary department following health and safety codes
  • maintain accurate inventory weekly
  • prepare orders to ensure production accuracy
  • supervise and evaluate employees, promote growth and teamwork
  • maintain a safe working environment
  • train and mentor food service workers
  • maintain equipment maintenance logs
  • ensure completion of food safety and temperature logs with corrective actions
  • perform preventative maintenance checklist
  • recommend equipment replacement
  • multitask proficiently
  • perform duties as requested by Food Service Director or Manager
  • fill in for absent employees
  • manage daily catering events
  • work occasional night and weekend catering events
