As a company deeply rooted in service and united by a shared purpose, Aramark emphasizes doing great things for its employees, partners, communities, and the planet. The organization is committed to fostering an inclusive work environment where every employee enjoys equal employment opportunity without discrimination based on race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex, gender, pregnancy, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic information, military status, veteran status, or any other legally protected characteristic.
The company believes in cultivating a workplace that develops individual talents, fuels passions, and empowers professional growth. Whether you seek a new challenge, a sense of belonging, or simply a great place to work, Aramark is dedicated to helping you reach your full potential, all while contributing positively to communities and sustainability objectives. Their continued growth and dedication to excellence have solidified their reputation as a leading employer within the food services and facilities management sectors.
We are currently seeking a full-time Food Service Supervisor to join Aramark's passionate Food Services Team. This role is designed for someone eager to step up in their career and lead others while fostering a productive and positive team environment. Reporting alongside a manager who oversees operations, you will play an integral role in supervising staff, coordinating daily activities, ensuring food safety and quality, and supporting the team wherever needed. This position is a great opportunity for candidates who want to ignite their passion in the food service industry and pursue what truly matters to them.
As a Food Service Supervisor at Aramark, you will be responsible for producing and maintaining work schedules, preparing production packets including production sheets and recipes, and directing daily food production activities. You'll ensure that food is stored safely in an organized, hazard-free environment and served according to menu specifications while complying with company policies, health codes, and safety regulations. Maintaining a sanitary department and performing regular inventory checks are critical to your role.
You will supervise and evaluate employees to promote their growth, efficiency, morale, and teamwork. Training and mentoring other food service workers, completing food safety and temperature logs with necessary corrective actions, and maintaining equipment logs and preventative maintenance checklists are among your essential duties. Additionally, you may be required to fill in for absent employees and help with cashier duties when necessary.
The position also involves supporting catering events by ensuring timely preparation and delivery, attending food service meetings, and maintaining clear communication with staff through various channels. The role demands proficiency in multitasking, a strong commitment to food safety standards, and the ability to maintain emotional control under stress. Occasional night and weekend availability for catered events is required to meet the dynamic needs of Aramark's clients.
Joining Aramark means becoming part of a company that supports employees' growth and success while emphasizing teamwork, innovation, and community engagement. If you're ready to lead with passion and contribute to a vibrant food service team, this is the opportunity to shine and make a lasting impact.
