The role of Food Service Supervisor is an exciting opportunity for motivated individuals looking to step up their leadership career within a well-established and respected organization. This full-time position plays a pivotal role in the Food Services Team, working closely with management to oversee daily operations and ensure a high standard of food service excellence. Food Service Supervisors are entrusted with coordination and supervision responsibilities, empowering staff, and maintaining operational continuity. As a Food Service Supervisor at Aramark, you will produce and maintain work schedules, prepare production packets, and direct daily activities to align with company standards and client expectations. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in food service or supervisory role preferred
  • must complete sanitation course
  • ability to manage schedules and lead a team
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to work occasional nights and weekends
  • dependable and able to fill in for absent staff
  • valid work authorization

Job Qualifications

  • Must read, write, and understand verbal instructions
  • must complete a sanitation course before or during the first year

Job Duties

  • Produce and maintain work schedules and prepare production packets
  • direct daily activities
  • maintain food production ensuring safety and quality according to policies
  • ensure safe and organized storage of food items
  • maintain all serving schedules and serve food per menu specifications
  • maintain a sanitary department following health and safety regulations
  • maintain accurate inventory weekly
  • prepare orders as needed for accurate production
  • supervise and evaluate employees, counsel, promote growth, efficiency, morale, and teamwork
  • maintain a safe and hazard-free working environment
  • train and mentor other food service workers
  • maintain logs for equipment maintenance
  • complete all food safety and temperature logs with corrective action
  • perform preventative maintenance checklist
  • recommend replacement of equipment
  • multi-task proficiently
  • perform additional duties as requested by Food Service Director or Manager
  • fill in for absent employees
  • maintain knowledge of catering events and ensure timely preparation and delivery
