Now, Aramark is seeking to hire full-time Food Service Supervisors to join its passionate Food Services Team. This role is a unique opportunity for individuals eager to advance their careers in food service management while growing their leadership capabilities. The Food Service Supervisor will work closely with the Food Service Manager to coordinate and lead daily operations within the food service department. The position involves overseeing the work of staff, maintaining food safety and quality standards, organizing schedules and food production, and ensuring that all operations run smoothly and efficiently according to Aramark's policies and procedures.

This role demands a committed leader who is capable of multitasking and managing diverse responsibilities, including supervising employees, mentoring and training staff, maintaining sanitary conditions, handling inventory controls, and ensuring compliance with health regulations. The supervisor is also expected to fill in for absent employees when necessary, support catering events, and maintain effective communication across the team. Working hours include regular daytime shifts with occasional nights and weekends for catering events, allowing for a dynamic and varied work schedule.

The ideal candidate for the Food Service Supervisor role will be able to demonstrate strong organizational skills, emotional control under stress, and the ability to resolve interpersonal conflicts effectively. Applicants should have a basic understanding of arithmetic, an ability to comprehend and execute verbal and written instructions, and a willingness to complete a sanitation course within the first year of employment if not already certified. Job Duties

  • Produce and maintain work schedules and prepare production packets
  • Direct daily activities
  • Maintain food production ensuring safety and quality according to policies and department requirements
  • Ensure food items are stored safely and hazard-free
  • Maintain serving schedules and serve food per menu specifications
  • Maintain sanitization following health codes and regulations
  • Maintain accurate inventory weekly
  • Prepare orders to ensure accurate production
  • Supervise and evaluate employees
  • Counsel and promote employee growth and teamwork
  • Maintain a safe working environment
  • Train and mentor food service workers
  • Maintain equipment maintenance logs
  • Ensure food safety and temperature logs are completed
