The Food Service Supervisor role at Aramark is an exciting full-time position ideal for individuals looking to step up their career and showcase their leadership skills. Reporting alongside a manager, the Food Service Supervisor is primarily responsible for overseeing daily food service operations, supervising and supporting staff, and ensuring food safety, quality, and compliance with company policies. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining the efficiency, safety, and high standards of food production and service.

In this role, the Food Service Supervisor will produce and maintain work schedules, prepare production packets including production sheets and recipes, and direct daily activities to ensure smooth operations. You will manage food production, following stringent health and safety regulations, and ensure food items are stored and served in a safe, organized, and hazard-free environment. Maintaining sanitary conditions and accurate inventory records are essential components of the position.

The supervisor also evaluates employees' performance, promotes employee growth, morale, and teamwork, and provides training and mentoring to other food service workers. A hands-on approach is expected as you may fill in for absent employees when necessary, perform cashier duties, and be involved in organizing and executing catering events. Additional responsibilities include maintaining maintenance logs for equipment, completing food safety and temperature logs with necessary corrective actions, performing preventative maintenance checklists, and recommending equipment replacements when needed.

The role requires a candidate with strong organizational skills, the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and the capacity to maintain emotional control under stress while resolving interpersonal situations effectively. Attendance at food service meetings and maintaining communication with staff through various channels is an integral part of sustaining team coordination and operational success. Occasional availability for night and weekend catering events is also required.

Overall, the Food Service Supervisor position at Aramark offers a dynamic environment where leadership, teamwork, and food service expertise come together to make a significant positive impact.
