Aramark’s mission centers on doing great things for each other, partners, communities, and the planet, making it an employer of choice for individuals seeking to grow their careers and make a positive impact.

Within Aramark, the Food Service Supervisor role is integral to managing large-scale kitchen operations within a secure correctional facility. This position requires on-the-ground leadership in overseeing daily food production, ensuring meal services are safe, nutritious, efficient, and compliant with strict security and food safety standards mandated by facility, state, and federal regulations. The Food Service Supervisor collaborates closely with managers and staff to streamline kitchen workflows, maintain inventory controls, mentor incarcerated workers, and uphold the quality and safety of food served. Shifts typically run from 7 AM to 5 PM with rotating weekends, providing a structure ideal for those seeking full-time employment in a disciplined yet rewarding environment.

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals eager to step up in their career and lead a team with passion and integrity. As part of Aramark’s Food Services Team, supervisors play a crucial role in scheduling, directing daily activities, maintaining sanitation standards, and ensuring that all operations align with Aramark’s policies and corrective action protocols. This role demands strong organizational skills, proficiency in multitasking, and the ability to respond to emergencies or absences to maintain consistent service quality. Supervisors also engage in ongoing communication with staff and may sometimes perform cashier duties or support catering events.

Joining Aramark as a Food Service Supervisor means not only taking on operational responsibilities but also becoming part of a mission-driven organization committed to employee development and professional growth. Aramark supports skill-building and encourages employees to embrace challenges while contributing to the success of a critical service sector. For those who are organized, detail-oriented, and eager to lead teams in a dynamic, security-focused food service environment, this role offers a promising career pathway with ample opportunities for learning and advancement.
