The role of Food Service Supervisor at Aramark is a full-time position that plays a pivotal part in supporting the Food Services Team by overseeing daily operations and ensuring high standards of food quality, safety, and service. Reporting to a manager, the Food Service Supervisor will coordinate work schedules, direct team activities, and maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free environment in compliance with health and safety regulations. This position requires strong leadership skills to supervise, evaluate, and mentor staff, promoting teamwork and employee growth. Additionally, the Food Service Supervisor handles inventory management, assists with production orders, and ensures catering events run smoothly and on time.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in food service or supervisory role preferred
- completion of or willingness to complete a sanitation course
- ability to communicate effectively
- capable of multi-tasking and managing time efficiently
- able to work occasional nights and weekends
- strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- knowledge of health and safety regulations
- ability to train and mentor staff

Job Duties
- Produce and maintain work schedules and prepare production packets
- direct daily activities of the food service team
- maintain food production ensuring safety and quality according to policies and procedures
- ensure safe and organized storage of food items
- maintain serving schedules and ensure food is served per menu specifications
- maintain sanitary conditions following health and safety regulations
- maintain accurate inventory records weekly
- prepare orders as needed
- supervise and evaluate employees promoting growth and teamwork
- maintain a safe and hazard-free working environment
- train and mentor food service workers
- maintain maintenance logs for equipment
- complete food safety and temperature logs with corrective actions
- perform preventative maintenance checklist
- recommend equipment replacement
