Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in food service or hospitality preferred
  • must be able to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
  • ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • basic computer skills
  • strong communication skills

  • adherence to health and safety standards
  • must complete sanitation course before or during employment

  • Must read, write, and understand verbal instructions

Job Duties

  • Produce and maintain work schedules and may prepare production packets
  • direct daily activities
  • maintain food production ensuring safety and quality according to policies
  • ensure food items are stored safely and hazard-free
  • maintain serving schedules ensuring food items meet menu specifications
  • maintain sanitary department following health and safety regulations
  • maintain accurate inventory weekly
  • prepare orders as needed
  • supervise and evaluate employees and promote growth and teamwork
  • maintain a safe working environment
  • train and mentor food service workers
  • maintain equipment maintenance logs
  • complete food safety and temperature logs with corrective action
  • perform preventative maintenance
  • recommend equipment replacement
  • multitask proficiently
  • perform duties requested by Food Service Director or Manager
  • fill in for absent employees
  • maintain knowledge and timely delivery of catering events
  • work occasional night and weekend events
  • attend food service meetings
