Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food service or supervisory role preferred
- Must complete a sanitation course before or during first year
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively
Job Qualifications
- Must be able to read, write, and understand verbal instructions
- Completion of a sanitation course before or during the first year is required
- Knowledge in operating an efficient and cost-effective food service program
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic
- Ability to maintain emotional control under stress

Job Duties
- Produce and maintain work schedules
- Prepare production packets including sheets and recipes
- Direct daily food service activities
- Maintain food safety and quality standards
- Ensure safe and organized food storage
- Maintain serving schedules per menu specifications
- Keep the department sanitary and compliant with health codes
- Conduct weekly inventory checks
- Prepare orders for accurate production
- Supervise and evaluate employees, promote growth and teamwork
- Maintain a safe working environment
- Train and mentor food service workers
- Maintain equipment maintenance logs
- Complete food safety and temperature logs with corrective actions
- Perform preventative maintenance
- Recommend equipment replacements
- Multitask effectively
- Fill in for absent employees as needed
- Ensure timely preparation and delivery of catering events
- Work occasional nights and weekends for catered events
- Attend food service meetings
- Maintain communication with staff
- Perform cashier duties if necessary
- Promote good public relations
