Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in food service or hospitality preferred
- Completion or willingness to complete a sanitation course
- Ability to manage and supervise a team
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work nights and weekends as needed
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- Must read, write, and understand verbal instructions
- Must complete a sanitation course either before or during first year
- Knowledgeable in operating an efficient, cost-effective program
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic
- Maintain emotional control under stress
- Ability to resolve interpersonal situations
- Strong organizational skills
Job Duties
- Produce and maintain work schedules and prepare production packets
- Direct daily activities of the food service team
- Maintain food production quality and safety per policies and procedures
- Ensure safe and organized food storage
- Maintain serving schedules and ensure food is served according to menu specifications
- Uphold sanitary standards and comply with health and safety regulations
- Maintain accurate inventory weekly
- Prepare orders as required for accurate production
- Supervise and evaluate employees, promote growth and teamwork
- Maintain a safe working environment
- Train and mentor food service workers
- Keep logs of equipment maintenance
- Complete all food safety and temperature logs with corrective actions
- Perform preventative maintenance checklists
- Recommend equipment replacements
- Multitask efficiently
- Fill in for absent employees as needed
- Coordinate daily catering events and ensure timely delivery
- Work occasional night and weekend catered events
- Attend food service meetings
- Maintain communication with staff and management
- Perform cashier duties as necessary
- Promote good public relations
