This role is for a full-time Food Service Supervisor, a pivotal position within Aramark’s passionate Food Services Team. The Food Service Supervisor works closely under the guidance of a manager to coordinate food service operations, oversee staff, and ensure efficient and safe food preparation and service. With an hourly rate of $20.00, this position offers a competitive salary along with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision coverage, retirement savings plans such as 401(k), and paid time off including parental leave and disability coverage, depending on location.
The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of food service locations, helping maintain high standards for quality, sanitation, safety, and customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include producing and maintaining work schedules, managing food production and inventory, training and mentoring food service workers, and ensuring compliance with health and safety codes. This role demands multitasking skills, leadership capabilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and team management.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of experience in food service or related supervisory role
- Ability to work full-time hours
- Willingness to work occasional nights and weekends
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
Job Qualifications
- Must be able to read, write, and understand verbal instructions
- Must complete a sanitation course either before or during the first year

Job Duties
- Produce and maintain work schedules and may prepare production packets
- Direct daily activities
- Maintain food production ensuring safety and quality according to policies and procedures
- Ensure safe and organized food storage
- Maintain serving schedules and ensure food items are served per menu specifications
- Maintain a sanitary department in compliance with health and safety codes
- Maintain accurate inventory weekly
- Prepare orders as needed for accurate production
- Supervise and evaluate employees promoting growth and teamwork
- Maintain a safe and hazard-free work environment
- Train and mentor other food service workers
- Maintain equipment maintenance logs
- Complete food safety and temperature logs with corrective actions
- Perform preventative maintenance checklists
- Recommend equipment replacements
- Multitask proficiently
- Perform other duties as assigned by Food Service Director or Manager
- Fill in for absent employees as necessary
- Maintain knowledge of daily catering events ensuring timely preparation and delivery
- Work occasional night and weekend catered events
- Attend food service meetings
