We are currently seeking dedicated, full-time Food Service Supervisors to join our passionate Food Services Team. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will play a vital role in overseeing daily operations within our food service departments. Working closely with a manager, you will help coordinate activities, lead operational tasks, supervise and mentor staff, and ensure the delivery of high-quality food services that meet safety and quality standards. This position requires an individual who is organized, proactive, and committed to maintaining a safe, efficient, and customer-focused environment.

In this role, you will be responsible for producing and maintaining work schedules, preparing production packets including production sheets and recipes, and directing daily activities to ensure smooth operations. Additionally, you will oversee food production to guarantee safety and quality compliance with Aramark policies and health regulations. Ensuring that food items are stored safely, maintaining sanitary conditions, and managing accurate inventory are also key areas of responsibility. You will have the opportunity to train and mentor other food service workers and manage employee evaluations to promote growth, morale, and teamwork.

The Food Service Supervisor must maintain logs on equipment maintenance and food safety/temperature checks, perform preventative maintenance, and recommend equipment replacements as needed. This role also includes filling in for absent employees, managing catering events, attending food service meetings, maintaining effective staff communication, and sometimes performing cashier duties. Flexibility to work occasional night and weekend catered events is also required.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in food service or related supervisory role preferred
  • ability to read, write, and understand verbal instructions
  • must complete or have completed a sanitation course

  • availability to work occasional nights and weekends
  • physical ability to perform duties including standing for long periods

Job Duties

  • Produce and maintain work schedules and may prepare production packets (production sheets and recipes)
  • direct daily activities
  • maintain food production that ensures the safety and quality of food according to policies, procedures, and department requirements
  • ensure that food items are stored in a safe, organized, and hazard-free environment
  • maintain all serving schedules
  • ensure that all food items are served per menu specifications in a safe and appropriate manner following Aramark policies and procedures
  • maintain a sanitary department following health and safety codes and regulations
  • maintain accurate inventory on a weekly basis
  • may prepare orders as needed to ensure accurate production for location
  • supervise and evaluate employees
