Aramark is a global leader in providing food services, facilities management, and uniform services. With operations spanning 15 countries, Aramark proudly serves millions of guests every day, delivering high-quality and dependable services. Founded on the principles of service and unity, Aramark aims to create positive impacts for its employees, partners, communities, and the planet. The company embraces a diverse and inclusive workforce where equal employment opportunities are paramount, and all employees can thrive regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex, gender identity, disability, or veteran status. Aramark's commitment to professional growth ensures that each employee can develop their talents, fuel their passions, and excel in their careers.
The role being offered is a full-time Food Service Supervisor position within Aramark's passionate Food Services Team. This role is designed for motivated individuals looking to elevate their career in the food service industry. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role supporting a manager to coordinate and lead food service operations effectively. Your responsibilities will include overseeing staff, collaborating with team members, and contributing wherever necessary to ensure seamless daily operations. The role not only demands hands-on leadership skills but also offers opportunities for growth and development aligned with your personal and professional goals.
In this capacity, you will produce and maintain work schedules, prepare production packets such as production sheets and recipes, and direct daily activities. Maintaining food safety and quality standards is critical, as is ensuring food items are stored in a safe, organized, and hazard-free environment. You will be responsible for serving schedules, guaranteeing that all food items meet menu specifications following Aramark's policies and procedures. Additional duties include maintaining a sanitary environment compliant with health and safety regulations, conducting accurate inventory checks weekly, and preparing orders when necessary to meet demand.
Supervision is a key component of this role, involving evaluating employees, promoting their growth and morale, and fostering teamwork. Maintaining a safe working environment and training other food service workers within the team are essential. You will also maintain maintenance logs for equipment, complete food safety and temperature logs with corrective actions as required, and perform preventative maintenance checklists. To enhance operational efficiency, the supervisor recommends new equipment when appropriate and is proficient in multitasking to handle various responsibilities. This role may require filling in for absent employees, managing catering events including occasional night and weekend shifts, and participating in staff meetings to maintain clear communication. Occasionally, cashier duties may be assigned. Ultimately, the Food Service Supervisor serves as a frontline leader promoting good public relations and ensuring exceptional service delivery.
Aramark values adaptability, and job duties may evolve or expand as needed to meet business demands and ensure customer satisfaction. Joining Aramark as a Food Service Supervisor represents an exciting opportunity to step into a leadership position that not only challenges your abilities but also supports your advancement in a dynamic industry.
