This opportunity is for a full-time Food Service Supervisor to join Aramark’s passionate Food Services Team. In this leadership role, you will work closely with a manager who coordinates and oversees daily operations, while you support and supervise staff, collaborate with teammates, and contribute where needed to ensure smooth and efficient service. The Food Service Supervisor is responsible for producing and maintaining work schedules, preparing production packets including detailed recipes, and directing daily activities to keep the kitchen and food service operation running efficiently. You will manage food production processes in line with policies and procedures designed to safeguard food safety and quality, ensuring that all food items are stored properly and served according to menu specifications. Maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard-free environment is a key aspect of the job, along with adhering to health and safety regulations. Inventory management, order preparation, and equipment maintenance log upkeep are also critical tasks to keep the operation functioning smoothly.

Employee supervision is a core responsibility of this role. The Food Service Supervisor will evaluate performance, promote employee growth and morale, facilitate teamwork, and provide training and mentoring. You will play a vital role in fostering a positive workplace culture that values collaboration and continuous improvement. Additionally, you may be called upon to fill in for absent staff, assist with catering events, attend staff meetings, and perform cashier duties as needed. Flexibility is important, as occasional night and weekend shifts for catered events may be required.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in food service or supervisory role preferred
  • ability to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends
  • valid food handler certification or willingness to obtain
  • good communication skills
  • physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks
  • commitment to adhering to health and safety regulations
  • teamwork and leadership capability
  • basic computer skills for inventory and communication tasks

Job Duties
