With a strong emphasis on teamwork, diversity, and continuous learning, Aramark offers a dynamic workplace where employees can thrive and grow.

The Food Service Supervisor role at Aramark is a full-time leadership position within the passionate Food Services Team. Reporting alongside a manager, supervisors play a critical role in overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring high standards of food safety, quality, and service. This position offers an exceptional opportunity for individuals looking to step up their careers in the food service industry and lead by example while igniting their own passion for the work.

As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for producing and maintaining work schedules, preparing production packets such as production sheets and recipes, and directing daily activities within the department. You will ensure that all food production meets strict safety and quality standards according to company policies, procedures, and health regulations. A core part of your role will be maintaining a safe, organized environment that is free from hazards and ensuring proper storage of food items.

You will oversee all aspects of food service, including maintaining serving schedules, guaranteeing all menu specifications are met, and monitoring sanitation in compliance with health and safety codes. Inventory management is also a key responsibility, requiring weekly accurate counts and preparing necessary orders to support efficient operations. Supervising and evaluating employees, mentoring and training staff, and promoting morale and teamwork are essential duties that contribute to the success of the department.

Additionally, the role requires maintaining logs related to equipment maintenance, food safety, and temperature controls, performing preventative maintenance checklists, and recommending replacement of equipment to meet facility needs. Flexibility is crucial as you may need to cover absent employees, attend evening and weekend catering events, and assist with cashier duties when needed. Strong communication through various channels and participation in food service meetings are also critical to ensuring smooth and coordinated operations.

This position demands proficiency in multitasking, strong organizational skills, and the ability to maintain emotional control under stress. It is well-suited for individuals who are knowledgeable in operating a cost-efficient program and can effectively resolve interpersonal situations. The company supports professional development by encouraging completion of sanitation courses and continuous learning.

Aramark’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion ensures that all employees are respected and valued regardless of their background. Employees in this role benefit from a supportive environment where innovation and dedication are recognized and rewarded. If you are passionate about food service and leadership and eager to advance your career within an esteemed global organization, Aramark invites you to join their team and make a positive impact every day.
