Job Requirements

- Experience supervising multiple employees in a food service environment
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work onsite full-time in a correctional facility
- Ability to follow recipes and maintain quality standards

- Commitment to food safety and sanitation practices

- Advanced degree in culinary arts or related field (preferred)

Job Duties
- Provide hands-on supervision and oversight for the preparation, cooking, and portioning of meals following company recipes based on daily needs and contractual obligations
- Ensure all meals meet standards for quality
- Oversee kitchen staff to maintain food safety and sanitation standards
- Coordinate daily kitchen operations including inventory and supply management
- Train and mentor kitchen employees to improve performance and adherence to procedures
- Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with management to meet budgeting and operational goals
