Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience supervising multiple employees
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations
  • Ability to work onsite full-time in New York, NY
  • Availability to work flexible hours as needed

  • Advanced degree in culinary arts or a related field (preferred)
  • Food Handler’s certification (preferred)

Job Duties

  • Providing hands-on supervision and oversight for the preparation, cooking, and portioning of meals, following company recipes based on daily needs and contractual obligations
  • Ensuring all meals meet standards for quality
  • Supervising multiple employees to maintain efficient and effective kitchen operations
  • Communicating effectively with team members and management to coordinate daily tasks
  • Monitoring compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines
  • Training new staff on operational procedures and service standards
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
