The Food Service Site Manager role at Aramark is pivotal in ensuring the success of contracted food service operations generating up to $1 million in revenue for a single client or client outlet. This position is not limited to food services alone; it may also encompass facility support and custodial services depending on client requirements. As a key operations leader, the Food Service Site Manager is responsible for the end-to-end execution of service solutions that align with customer preferences and needs. This includes overseeing day-to-day activities, managing team performance, financial oversight including P&L statements, and maintaining health and safety standards. The role demands strong leadership and operational skills to deliver client satisfaction and achieve financial targets. The manager will leverage Aramark's coaching model to engage and develop team members, ensuring they are motivated and recognized for their contributions. Additionally, the manager must adopt Aramark's systems and processes to analyze performance metrics, optimize margins through cost controls, and maintain compliance with all applicable policies. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree level education highly preferred
  • Prior experience managing teams in service industry, contract services, or hospitality environment
  • Ability to perform physical demands including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing
  • Willingness to wear uniforms and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Adherence to all applicable safety, health, wage and hour policies
  • Strong communication and leadership skills

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree level education highly preferred in an area of food service, hospitality, facilities, or business management
  • Prior experience in the service industry, contract services, or hospitality environment, including managing teams is required
  • Strong interpersonal, analysis, and decision-making skills

Job Duties

  • Use Aramark's coaching model to engage and develop team members to their fullest potential

  • Plan and lead daily team briefings
  • Identify client needs and communicate operational progress
  • Ensure the completion and maintenance of P&L statements
  • Deliver client and company financial targets
  • Adopt all Aramark processes and systems, understand performance metrics, data, order and inventory trends
  • Educate teams on key levers to improve margins
  • Bring value through efficient operations, appropriate cost controls, and profit management
  • Follow the Operational Excellence fundamentals by meeting and maintaining food and labor initiatives
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment for clients, customers and employees
  • Follow all applicable policies, rules and regulations, including but not limited to those relating to safety, health, wage and hour
