Aramark is currently seeking a Food Service Site Manager for the DeBerry Special Needs Facility, a correctional setting where the role encompasses planning, guiding, and executing contracted food service operations primarily generating up to $1 million in revenue. The scope of services may occasionally extend beyond food to include facility support and custodial services. As a key operations leader, the Food Service Site Manager is responsible for developing and implementing service solutions that align with client objectives, financial goals, and customer needs.

This position requires a dynamic leader who excels in teamwork, financial management, and operational excellence. The manager will employ Aramark's coaching model to engage and develop team members, ensuring both individual and collective success. Responsibilities include conducting daily team briefings, identifying client needs, maintaining profit and loss statements, and meeting stringent operational excellence fundamentals related to food and labor initiatives. The role demands a thorough understanding of performance metrics, ordering and inventory trends, and firm commitment to cost control and profit management practices. Safety, health, and regulatory compliance are top priorities, with the manager expected to maintain a safe environment for clients, customers, and employees alike.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree level education highly preferred in an area of food service, hospitality, facilities, or business management
  • prior experience in the service industry, contract services, or hospitality environment including managing teams is required
  • strong interpersonal, analysis, and decision-making skills
  • ability to fulfill physical demands including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing
  • willingness to wear uniforms and/or use personal protective equipment (PPE)

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree level education highly preferred in an area of Food Service, Hospitality, Facilities, or Business Management
