The role of Prep Cook at SSA Group is integral to supporting the culinary team in delivering top-tier food quality and service. Reporting directly to the Kitchen Manager(s), Sous Chef(s), and Executive Chef, the Prep Cook is responsible for the meticulous preparation of various ingredients, including washing, chopping, seasoning, and marinating, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and sanitation are met. This position is vital in maintaining kitchen efficiency and cleanliness, managing inventory and storage, and upholding all operational standards aligned with SSA's commitment to hospitality excellence.

Job Duties

  • Prepare a variety of ingredients including washing, chopping, seasoning, and marinating
  • Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and organizing supplies
  • Assist in inventory management and storage of supplies
  • Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
  • Comply with nutrition and sanitation guidelines
  • Perform other kitchen duties as assigned
