The Prep Cook role is an essential position within the culinary team, reporting directly to the Kitchen Manager(s), Sous Chef(s), and Executive Chef. This role involves preparing a variety of ingredients necessary for menu items by washing, chopping, seasoning, and marinating as required. Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety is paramount; the Prep Cook ensures the kitchen remains orderly by cleaning dishes, sanitizing work surfaces, and organizing supplies efficiently. The position also supports inventory management and proper storage practices to guarantee the freshest, safest products are used.

Job Requirements

  • Live out 452 Hospitality by delivering warm, welcoming, and memorable experiences for every guest and client
  • Demonstrates the ability to remain flexible in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of health and safety rules in a kitchen
  • Manual dexterity to operate cutting tools and kitchen utensils
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work varied hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Food handling license preferred
