Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ability to work a forty-hour week including weekends
- physical capability to lift up to 40 lbs unassisted and 75 lbs with assistance
- willingness to work shifts between 5 AM and 7 PM
- ability to stand and walk for 80% of the workday
- adherence to sanitation and safety protocols
- availability for shift work Sunday through Saturday
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in food preparation or service preferred
- ability to operate kitchen equipment safely
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- physical ability to lift heavy items and stand for long periods
- good communication and teamwork skills
- reliability and punctuality
Job Duties
- Processes, prepares, and cooks a variety of food into various consistencies and portion sizes for regular and modified diets
- operates electrical and mechanical kitchen equipment with moving parts and operating at high temperature
- utilizes sharp utensils
- bends/stoops, lift items up to 40 lbs unassisted and up to 75 lbs with assistance
- sets up serving line and serves food onto trays for individuals
- portions food into small containers or onto food trays requiring repetitive motion
- walks/stands 80% of the workday
- performs cleaning and sanitizing of all equipment, utensils, fixtures, floors, and vehicles
- sweeps, mops, takes trash to dumpster, operates dish machine, washes dishes in a 3-compartment sink
- operates vehicles and/or acts as vehicle safety spotter behind backing vehicles
- climbs up/down from vehicles
- requires walking and pushing food carts
- operates cash register
- must be available for shift work Sunday - Saturday
