The school is located in Cincinnati and serves a diverse student body, emphasizing holistic education and wellness as key facets of its mission.
The role of Food Service Director at INTAC is a critical leadership position within the administration and food service sector. This role requires an individual with outstanding operational and management skills to oversee the comprehensive food service program at the school. As Food Service Director, you will lead a dedicated team responsible for meal preparation, service, and ensuring all standards and regulations related to food safety and nutrition are rigorously followed. You will monitor the quality, speed, and friendliness of service, continuously identifying opportunities to enhance the cafeteria experience for students and staff. Maintaining excellent sanitation standards, a safe environment, and well-kept facilities also falls under your purview.
Moreover, you will oversee, train, and evaluate cafeteria staff to ensure professional growth and sustained team efficiency. Building and nurturing a positive work environment through fair and firm leadership is essential, along with maintaining open communication lines with school administrators and district leadership. You will play an integral role in budgeting and conducting monthly cost analyses to ensure financial accountability of the food service program. Additionally, your participation in ongoing education and training will help keep the program aligned with the latest industry standards and best practices.
