The Food Service Manager position at Aramark is a vital management role tasked with overseeing the daily operations of dining services where customers order from prepared menus. This role requires developing and implementing dining solutions tailored to meet customer preferences and client specifications effectively. The person in this position leads front-of-house operations, collaborating closely with the Food Service Director to ensure seamless service delivery in cafeterias or residential dining facilities. Key responsibilities include leading daily briefings, recognizing and rewarding team members, and ensuring safety and sanitation standards are maintained across the dining operations. Financial management duties include maintaining profit and loss statements, delivering financial targets for both the client and company, and instructing teams on key operational metrics that drive profitability.
