The Patient Service Manager role at Aramark is an essential position within the Food & Nutrition Department. This role is responsible for supporting patient services operations by developing and executing dining solutions tailored to the needs and preferences of patients and customers. The Patient Service Manager is tasked with interpreting government-mandated nutritional standards applicable within the healthcare industry, utilizing their technical expertise to implement healthy menu plans that align with patient dietary requirements. Their responsibilities include managing patient feeding processes, ensuring quality assurance in food service delivery, and driving initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction scores.
This position involves hands-on leadership of patient service staff to guarantee meals are prepared and delivered to patients accurately and timely. The Patient Service Manager oversees multiple facets of the food delivery service, including managing the diet office, floor stock, host and hostess duties, and the service ambassador program. They are also responsible for maintaining safety and sanitation compliance according to established healthcare and food service standards. Supervising tray line operations and room service programs are additional critical tasks.
The role offers a salaried position with compensation ranging from $70,000 to $75,000 annually. Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- at least 1-2 year experience in food service supervision or management
- healthcare patient services management experience
- proficiency in Microsoft Office
- excellent interpersonal customer service and organizational skills
- ability to manage motivate and engage a large workforce
- nutrition education or background preferred
