Job Description

LifeWorks Restaurant Group is a hospitality-driven restaurant company dedicated to creating exceptional dining experiences designed specifically for the modern workplace. Through their chef-led cafes, catering programs, and innovative food experiences, LifeWorks goes beyond simply providing meals—they deliver moments of connection, culture, and care in every aspect of service. Their focus on culinary excellence, creativity, and service integration makes them a leader in workplace dining. They tailor their offerings to meet the unique needs of the communities and people they serve, elevating everyday dining and fostering workplace culture through exceptional food programs.

The Food Service Manager role at LifeWorks is an essential leadership position within a dynamic and fast-paced hospitality environment. Reporting to the Food Service Director and working in conjunction with other departments, you will lead the front of house operations, including cafeteria or residential dining facilities. Your primary responsibilities center on driving team engagement and development using Aramark’s coaching model, ensuring safety and sanitation, meeting and exceeding financial and productivity targets, and delivering outstanding customer service that aligns with LifeWorks’ mission. You will play a key role in supervising production, quality control, and cost management to ensure operational excellence and client satisfaction. This role demands creativity, strong leadership, excellent interpersonal skills, and a commitment to maintaining a memorable food service experience for customers.

Compensation for the position ranges from $75,000 to $80,000 annually, accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package provided by Aramark, the parent company behind LifeWorks Restaurant Group. Benefits include medical, dental, vision coverage, work/life resources, retirement savings plans like 401(k), paid time off such as parental leave, and disability coverage. LifeWorks values diversity and equal opportunity employment and complies with applicable fair chance laws to ensure inclusive hiring practices. As part of a global organization serving millions of guests daily across 15 countries, you will have opportunities for skill development, career growth, and the chance to contribute meaningfully to food service within workplace environments. This is an exciting opportunity to join a company where food, design, and service come together to build a culture of hospitality and innovation.

Joining LifeWorks means becoming part of a mission-driven team that believes people make the difference. You will help shape the daily dining experience for clients and guests, fostering customer loyalty and delivering excellence in all service aspects. The role's responsibilities are broad, encompassing leadership, client relationship management, financial performance oversight, operational productivity, compliance, and front-of-house coordination. It is designed for those who thrive in collaborative environments and are passionate about food service management. LifeWorks and Aramark prioritize safety, quality, and employee growth, making this more than just a job but a career path in the hospitality industry focused on modern workplace dining solutions.
