The Food Service Manager position at Aramark presents an exciting leadership opportunity within the dining operations segment. This management role involves developing and implementing dining solutions aimed at fulfilling customer needs and preferences. As a Food Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily dining operations where customers order prepared meals from a menu. You will lead and motivate a team using Aramark's coaching model, ensuring individuals and teams meet performance objectives and client expectations. This role involves key responsibilities in leadership, client relationship management, financial performance, productivity, and compliance.

Financial stewardship is a significant aspect of this role, as the manager is entrusted with maintaining profit and loss statements, meeting client and company financial targets, and driving cost controls to optimize profitability. You will play a critical role in educating your team on understanding performance metrics, order and inventory trends, and how to leverage these insights for margin improvement. Operational excellence fundamentals related to food and labor initiatives must be met to ensure efficient service delivery.

The Food Service Manager will also ensure compliance with safety, health, wage, and hour regulations, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for clients, customers, and employees alike. Additional duties include planning and coordinating food service activities and leading the front of the house operations in collaboration with the Food Service Director. This salaried position offers a competitive range of $70,000 to $75,000 with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, retirement plans like 401(k), and paid time off such as parental leave and disability coverage.   • Follow the Operational Excellence fundamentals by meeting and maintaining food and labor initiatives
  • Ensure entire team is trained and able to implement
  • Supervise team regarding production, quality and control
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment for clients, customers and employees
  • Follow all applicable policies, rules and regulations, including but not limited to those relating to safety, health, wage and hour
  • Lead the front of the house of the dining operation (Cafeteria/ Residential Dining Facility) in conjunction with the Food Service Director
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate food service activities in order to deliver a finished product to the customer
