Job Description

TXB, which stands for Texas Born, is a well-established food service company embodying the spirit and values of Texas. With a wide presence spanning big city, open country, and everything in between, TXB prides itself on its core values of authenticity, hospitality, and integrity. These values drive our daily operations and have helped build our reputable brand in the food service industry. At TXB, our mission is to positively impact our guests, team members, and the communities we serve, aligning with our purpose to 'leave 'em better' every day and in every way. We take great pride in going beyond just food service by fostering an environment where professionalism, respect, and community engagement are deeply rooted.

We are currently seeking a food service manager to join our team and significantly elevate our business operations and customer service standards. The food service manager plays a vital leadership role in the operation of each store, responsible for overseeing everything from food preparation and staff scheduling to customer service and store profitability. This is a position that demands a combination of strong leadership skills, operational oversight, and a hands-on approach to managing daily activities. The food service manager is tasked with ensuring that every guest enjoys an exceptional dining experience through careful management, coaching, and motivating the team.

The ideal candidate demonstrates reliability, punctuality, and honest work ethics along with excellent communication and customer service skills. With a deep understanding of food handling, sanitation procedures, and the ability to operate kitchen equipment, the food service manager supervises staff and enforces company protocols and policies. Responsibilities also include hiring, training, and sometimes terminating employees when necessary while instilling high standards for performance and customer satisfaction.

An important aspect of the role is overseeing budgets and payroll records, ensuring that the store remains financially viable while simultaneously maintaining quality service and products. This position requires a commitment to safety, regulatory compliance, and upholding TXB's brand reputation through consistent professionalism and outstanding leadership. The food service manager will also be responsible for scheduling staff hours, assigning duties, ordering supplies, and ensuring that food presentation meets company standards.

This role offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to be a key contributor within a respected and growing company. It also provides a chance to make a meaningful impact on our community by supporting the values that TXB embodies. Join us at TXB where we work together to uplift our teams, serve our guests with excellence, and contribute positively to the communities that give us so much. Our food service manager position is ideal for leaders who are passionate about hospitality and dedicated to operational excellence.
