The role offered at PriceChopper is for a Food Service Manager, responsible for overseeing the food service operations within the store, including the Food Court area. This role includes financial responsibilities such as monitoring payroll, sales budgets, gross profit, shrinkage, inventory levels, and other key performance indicators. This position demands a high level of organizational skill and attention to detail, including the maintenance of cold case, hot food, and cooling logs.

This is a full-time position based in Burlington, VT, with a competitive pay range of $21.75 to $33.25 per hour, reflecting the candidate's experience and capabilities. The ideal candidate for this role must be at least 18 years old, possess strong communication skills, basic literacy, and computer proficiency. They should have a minimum of three years' related experience and hold a high school diploma or equivalent. Physical requirements include the ability to work in hot and cold environments, frequent standing, walking, bending, twisting, and lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds. The role also involves working with various equipment such as computers, registers, cooking appliances, slicers, and cleaning supplies.
