The Food Service Manager at Aramark plays a pivotal leadership role in developing and implementing effective dining solutions tailored to meet customer needs and preferences. This management position oversees dining operations where customers order prepared foods from a menu, such as cafeterias or residential dining facilities. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of experience
  • At least 1 year of experience in a management role
  • Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push and pull up to 50 lb
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain effective client and customer rapport
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with other departments
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation policies
  • Ability to lead and train a team

Job Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of experience
  • At least 1 year of experience in a management role
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain effective client and customer rapport
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service using Aramark's standard service model
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with other departments
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push and pull up to 50 lb
  • Knowledge of safety and sanitation standards

Job Duties

  • Use Aramark's coaching model to engage and develop team members to their fullest potential
  • Reward and recognize employees

  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment for clients and employees
  • Follow all applicable policies, rules and regulations
