The Food Service Manager position at Aramark is a critical management role responsible for overseeing dining operations where customers order prepared foods from a menu. This role primarily focuses on developing and implementing dining solutions that meet customer needs and tastes, ensuring operational excellence, financial performance, and compliance with safety and sanitation standards. The salary range for this position is $58,000 to $64,000, providing competitive compensation aligned with industry standards.

As a Food Service Manager, you will lead and engage a team using Aramark's coaching model to develop their fullest potential. You will be responsible for planning and leading daily team briefings, recognizing and rewarding employees, and ensuring that individual and team performance meets both client expectations and company objectives. Client relationship management is a key aspect, requiring identification of client needs and effective communication on operational progress.

Financial oversight includes maintaining profit and loss statements, delivering on financial targets, and adopting Aramark’s processes and systems to optimize performance metrics, ordering trends, and inventory control. Productivity is central to this role, necessitating efficient operations, cost controls, and adherence to food and labor initiatives. Training the team to implement these standards, supervising production quality, and managing control measures are essential duties.

Compliance with all applicable policies and regulations—including safety, health, wage, and hour laws—is mandatory to maintain a safe and healthy environment for clients, customers, and employees alike. Additional responsibilities include leading the front-of-house dining operations in collaboration with the Food Service Director and coordinating food service activities to deliver excellent finished products to customers.

This role requires at least one year of experience in a management capacity and a minimum of one year working in food service. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred, along with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain positive relationships with clients and internal departments. Physical demands include occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods.
