With a strong commitment to service excellence, Aramark aims to create remarkable experiences for its customers and clients by fostering a company culture rooted in respect, diversity, and opportunity. As an organization, Aramark values inclusion and equal opportunity employment, ensuring a supportive work environment for all employees regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, age, gender, disability, or other protected characteristics. This commitment not only underlines the company’s values but also strengthens its ability to deliver superior service consistently.

The Food Service Manager position at Aramark is a pivotal management role primarily responsible for overseeing dining operations where customers order prepared foods from a curated menu. This role demands a balance of leadership, client relationship management, operational excellence, financial acumen, and regulatory compliance. The Food Service Manager will use Aramark's coaching model to engage and develop team members, fostering high performance and rewarding excellence within the team. By planning and leading daily team briefings, this role ensures the operational goals align with both client expectations and company standards. Financial performance is central to the role, with duties including the completion and maintenance of profit and loss statements, delivering client and company financial targets, and educating teams on performance metrics, data, and inventory trends to improve margins. Productivity is enhanced through efficient operations, cost control, and profit management, with a continuous emphasis on meeting food and labor initiatives through Operational Excellence fundamentals. The manager supervises the team to maintain high-quality production standards while ensuring all safety and sanitation regulations are strictly followed.

In addition to operational oversight, the Food Service Manager leads the front-of-house dining operations, collaborating closely with the Food Service Director. This includes planning, directing, and coordinating all food service activities to ensure customers receive a high-quality finished product.
