Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • Previous restaurant, fast food, retail, and management experience
  • High school diploma with some college preferred
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks at once
  • Ability to forecast supplies as needed
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Amazing leadership abilities

Job Duties

  • Consistently render the best customer service to the public through a well-trained staff and product availability
  • Ensure that the food service area operates in accordance with C-store policies related to marketing, cleanliness, cash and inventory controls, operations and security
  • Operate the food service area to build customer loyalty, increase sales, and achieve profitability
  • Perform responsibilities as specified in the sales/food service associate job description
  • Ensure compliance with applicable state and federal laws regarding food handling
  • Work safely following all policies and procedures set in the safety manual
  • Complete daily and monthly paperwork to ensure compliance and protect company assets
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment including equipment and customer areas
  • Enter and work in coolers at low temperatures
  • Practice and implement food safety initiatives and OSHA regulations
  • Control product inventory and waste to meet company margins
  • Maintain records related to food service area and station logs
  • Provide enthusiastic customer service and assist associates in customer relations
  • Monitor vendor deliveries, physical inventories, security procedures, and shift reporting
  • Ensure proper ordering and stock levels based on promotions and sales
  • Assist in training all food service associates and encourage teamwork
  • Conduct new employee training and performance evaluations
  • Communicate proper practices professionally and conduct progressive counseling
  • Ensure the store and food service area presentation meets company standards
