The Food Service Manager role at Aramark is a vital management position focused on overseeing and optimizing dining operations where customers order prepared foods from a menu. Additionally, the Food Service Manager ensures operational excellence by upholding safety and sanitation standards in all dining areas while fostering a productive, compliant work environment. Responsibilities extend to managing productivity through efficient workflow, cost control, and profit management initiatives, as well as supervising food production quality and control. This position also requires the development of strong client relationships by identifying client needs and communicating operational progress effectively.

Job Duties

- follow Operational Excellence fundamentals by meeting and maintaining food and labor initiatives
- ensure entire team is trained and able to implement
- supervise team regarding production, quality and control
- maintain a safe and healthy environment for clients, customers and employees
- follow all applicable policies, rules and regulations including those relating to safety, health, wage and hour
- lead front of house dining operation in conjunction with Food Service Director
- plan, direct and coordinate food service activities to deliver finished product to customer
