The company prides itself on its well-trained staff dedicated to meeting the unique challenges of on-site food service within various organizations. Preferred Hospitality, Inc. aims to not only meet but exceed expectations in food service through innovative approaches and a commitment to excellence.
Currently, Preferred Hospitality is seeking a food and hospitality-focused Service Manager who is passionate about quality food service and motivated to contribute to the company's vision of creating a world-class, nationally recognized collegiate dining program. Responsibilities include delivering consistent staff training, managing the hiring and evaluation process, maintaining employee discipline, and ensuring that guest satisfaction is prioritized through rigorous internal controls.
A successful Service Manager maintains a dynamic work environment by managing conflicts and operational challenges decisively and efficiently. The role also emphasizes promoting positive communication within the team, inspecting employee appearance for uniform and hygiene compliance, and instructing staff on food service delivery and presentation. In addition to customer service oversight, the Service Manager will assist in food delivery and preparation as needed. This comprehensive involvement ensures smooth day-to-day operations and supports the overarching goal of delivering exceptional dining experiences.
This full-time role offers a competitive pay range of $20 to $24 per hour, reflecting the candidate's skills, experience, and contribution to the team. Preferred Hospitality provides an attractive benefits package, including immediate paid time off accrual, health and welfare benefits, and a monthly meal allowance, underscoring the company's commitment to its employees' well-being. Candidates are encouraged to submit their resumes for consideration and should note that Preferred Hospitality is an E Verify Employer.
