Job Requirements

  • Experience supervising multiple employees
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to provide hands-on supervision in food preparation and service
  • Attention to detail and high service knowledge
  • Availability to work onsite at Como Zoo in Saint Paul, Minnesota
  • Part-time availability
  • Commitment to maintaining food safety standards

Job Duties

  • Provide hands-on supervision and oversight for the preparation, cooking, and portioning of meals, following company recipes based on daily needs and contractual obligations
  • Ensure all meals meet standards for quality
  • Supervise multiple employees effectively
  • Communicate clearly with staff and management
  • Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation
  • Organize workflow and scheduling to meet service demands
  • Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed
