We are currently seeking a Food Service Manager II to oversee the food and beverage outlets at Colman Dock, a busy ferry terminal serving the Washington State Ferry system. This leadership role is crucial to ensuring seamless operations and excellence in client satisfaction and retention. Reporting directly as an individual contributor, the Food Service Manager II is responsible for managing multi-functional food service operations with a strong focus on achieving revenue and profit goals through disciplined execution of operational programs and safety standards. This position plays a vital role in the daily oversight of food service activities, ensuring that teams are engaged, well-supported, and delivering on quality expectations.
The ideal candidate will bring expertise in food service management with particular emphasis on purchasing, inventory control, food cost analysis, and forecasting. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 0-2 years of management experience
- 0-1 years of related experience
Job Qualifications
- Food service management experience focused on purchasing, inventory, food cost analysis, and forecasting
- Experience using automated food inventory, ordering, production, and management systems
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and workplace safety
- Experience supporting quality, customer satisfaction, and service delivery across operations
- Proven ability to coach teams, provide feedback, and support compliance and engagement
