The current opportunity is for a Lead Line Cook at the Salted Restaurant Group location situated at 1060 E Colorado Blvd., Pasadena, CA 91106. This hourly position offers compensation ranging from $22 to $27 per hour, reflecting the importance of experience and skill level required. As a Lead Line Cook, you will play a pivotal role in the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring that all food items are prepared consistently according to established recipes, portioning, cooking, and waste control guidelines.

This role goes beyond standard cooking duties; the Lead Line Cook is expected to take charge of key processes such as opening, closing, and shift hand-offs to ensure smooth transitions and operational efficiency. Leading by example, you will assist in training and developing new and current staff members, helping to cultivate a positive and productive kitchen environment. Adherence to sanitation regulations and safety standards is critical for maintaining the high levels of quality and compliance the company prides itself on. In addition, the Lead Line Cook will communicate important customer order information to the virtual front-of-house team, facilitating seamless service and customer satisfaction.

Salted Restaurant Group values leadership and initiative. Candidates for this position should bring a minimum of two years of kitchen experience and at least one year of leadership experience, demonstrating advanced kitchen skills including knife proficiency, food preparation, sauté techniques, and more. Physical endurance is necessary as the role requires standing for extended periods and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
