Overtime pay opportunities are available during holiday weeks. The position is not eligible for telework and is unrepresented by any bargaining unit.
The Food Services Lead plays a vital role within the Base Operations Team, overseeing food and beverage services for Eaglecrest guests, events, and activities. The role requires managing a friendly and upbeat atmosphere in the kitchen window, cafeteria, and cashier stations, attracting an assortment of skiers and snowboarders. Candidates with ski or snowboard experience have a distinct advantage and may enjoy the added benefit of being able to ski or snowboard during scheduled breaks.
The position demands excellence in communication, leadership, and operational skills to maintain a varied and appealing menu as well as uphold high standards of service. The working environment is dynamic with a strong focus on team collaboration and delivering memorable guest experiences. Employees receive discounts across multiple Eaglecrest services including the cafeteria, retail shop, rental shop, and ski lessons, enhancing the overall employment experience.
This role requires an individual who thrives in a commercial kitchen environment, enjoys guest interaction, and is passionate about creating a welcoming atmosphere.
