SSA Group is currently seeking a dedicated Food Service Cook to join its culinary team. Reporting directly to Kitchen Managers, Sous Chefs, and Executive Chefs, this role is essential to maintaining the high standards SSA Group is known for. The Food Service Cook will support both back-of-house and line operations in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that all food service, safety, quality, and merchandising standards are consistently met. This position is designed for candidates passionate about culinary arts, teamwork, and delivering an extraordinary guest journey. The Food Service Cook will be involved in daily food preparation, monitoring food quantities, participating in safety logs, and maintaining hygienic work conditions. Job Duties

  • Live out 452 Hospitality by delivering warm, welcoming, and memorable experiences for every guest and client
  • support restaurant prep for daily operation including back-of-house and line
  • meet daily quick service, food service, safety and quality, availability, merchandising, and guest service standards
  • ensure proper food quantities for daily and ongoing service
  • participate in safety logs including food temperatures, rotation and waste
  • ensure safe food handling is maintained
  • ensure proper uniform, hygiene, hand-washing and glove use
  • maintain a safe work environment by adhering to safety rules
  • follow daily prep and item lists
  • support operation in assigned roles and fill holes as necessary
  • respond efficiently to guest and client feedback and report to supervisor
  • communicate issues to Restaurant Supervisor or Food Operations Manager
  • stay knowledgeable of menu items, prices, and specials
  • assist with dishwashing as necessary
  • maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment
  • uphold and demonstrate understanding of company policies and procedures
