This full-time Fast Food Food Service position is based at the MDC North CFA location in Miami, FL. The role offers a consistent schedule from Monday to Saturday, 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. The position requires previous food service experience and is ideal for individuals passionate about delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced fast-food or casual dining environment. As a Food Service team member, you will prepare, present, and serve food with efficiency and care while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation.
The role emphasizes a strong customer service focus, requiring you to greet guests warmly, accurately take and relay orders, and address any customer concerns with professionalism and friendliness. You will collaborate closely with back-of-the-house staff to ensure timely and precise order fulfillment, including accommodating special requests. Additionally, you will be responsible for handling sales transactions accurately, including managing cash and ensuring compliance with cash handling policies. Maintaining a clean and safe work environment by performing light cleaning duties such as sweeping and mopping is also a critical component of this position.

- previous experience in food service
- ability to stand for extended periods
- availability to work full-time Monday through Saturday, 10:00 am to 6:00 pm

Job Duties
- Greet guests promptly and warmly
- take food orders and efficiently relay them to back-of-the-house staff
- demonstrate a complete understanding of all menu items and ingredients
- communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure orders are delivered correctly and special requests are addressed
- interact with customers and resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner
- cook fast-food items in compliance with safety and food handling standards
- perform light cleaning duties to maintain sanitation and safety standards
- keep equipment, work area and facilities clean and in order
- perform sales transactions accurately and timely
- manage assigned change, funds and cash receipts
- perform other duties as assigned
