We are currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking Food Service Dishwasher to join our esteemed kitchen staff. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment. Your work behind the scenes will be pivotal in supporting the smooth and efficient operations of our kitchens, ultimately enhancing the overall dining experience offered at our clubs. Reporting directly to the Kitchen Manager, Sous Chef, or Executive Chef, you will work closely with a dynamic team to maintain high standards of hygiene and organization in the kitchen environment. This position offers an opportunity to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced hospitality setting while contributing meaningfully to the success of our culinary operations. You will be engaged in both routine duties such as operating dishwashing machines and hand-washing items, and supportive tasks such as assisting kitchen staff by providing clean utensils and equipment promptly. Additionally, your role will encompass maintaining a clean and organized dishwashing area, ensuring proper disposal of waste and recycling, restocking cleaning supplies, and adhering strictly to health and safety regulations. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous experience in dishwashing or kitchen support role is a plus
  • ability to stand and perform physical tasks for extended periods
  • capability to lift up to 100 lbs occasionally
  • ability to work in varying temperatures
  • effective communication skills
  • effective visual skills
  • availability to work based on a weekly schedule including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • previous experience in a dishwashing or kitchen support role is a plus

Job Duties

  • Operate dishwashing machines and hand-wash items as needed
  • keep the dishwashing area clean and organized
  • dispose of waste and recycling properly
  • assist kitchen staff by providing clean equipment and utensils promptly
  • engage in food preparation and various kitchen duties as assigned
  • monitor and restock cleaning supplies
  • report any equipment issues
  • adhere to health and safety guidelines including proper sanitation procedures
  • participate in regular cleaning tasks around the kitchen area

  • address and resolve member and guest complaints efficiently
  • complete additional tasks as directed by management
