The Food Service Director position with Trio-Community Meals in Fort Worth, TX, is a full-time, onsite role with an attractive compensation range of $80,000 to $85,000 per year. This leadership role calls for an individual who is motivated, effective, and experienced in guiding food service operations to deliver excellent customer and client satisfaction. As the Food Service Director, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the food service department, from overseeing team members and managing resources to ensuring compliance with safety and culinary standards.

The role demands hands-on management, including hiring and training of food service associates, enforcing sanitation practices, budgeting for ingredient purchases, and liaising with district management and other departments. Leadership in this role extends to addressing customer needs promptly and maintaining a high standard of service delivery. The position requires strong organizational skills, budget management capabilities, and the ability to work within a diverse team environment.

Ideal candidates will have at least two years of experience in coordinating food service operations, preferably with industrial cooking backgrounds. Since this position involves extensive interaction across different organizational levels, excellent communication skills are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is also a key requirement, as well as knowledge or certification in ServSafe or HACCP standards being highly desirable.
